central locking playing up?

my son has a ford 1999 xr6 and the central locking is trying to lock the doors while driving. the interior light comes on and the central locking starts trying to lock the doors and then the horn sounds. we have disconnected the battery for the time being any suggestions on how to resolve this weird issue
