my whites always end up with black marks on them?

i have a WMA46 hotpoint aquarius extra washing machine when i do a load of whites they always end up covered in black marks so i have to hand wash them

is the drum noisy and if you put the flat of your on the drum inside and rock it back and fourth does it feel rough?.Could be early signs of bearing failure?
