I have recently returned to the Jamaica and brought my hotpoint ff92 with me. The fridge which is the top section has stopped cooling and the temperture reading is going up and down. This fridge/freezer was brought in 2001. I understand that there are no spare parts here, and it seems there are none of this type of fridge in Jamaica so finding someone to repair it could be difficult. Does this means the end of my ff92. What can I do, please advice?.

you need to know the full model number of hotpoint fridge/freezer like mine on frunt says FFA90 which inside on the square plate says FFA90P yours is FF92? i took it as being the p like mine & did a search for parts this what i came up with http://www.speedyspares-appliances.com/main.asp?subcat_id=6&cat_id=8&catmakeid=86&makeid=5&modelid=10041

u need to replace the fridge thermistor which is located in the freezer compartment fairly easy job to do..
email appliancerepairman@fsmail.net if need one or more advice. would offer to repair it for u but call out charge would be sky high from england lol
