How to start my bosch 1677 worm drive saw?

I am hoping somebody can help me out here. I bought a refurbished Bosch 1677 Worm Drive saw from CPOBosch and the Big Foot 10" Saw Adaptor. The adaption went well, however, halfway through my first cut on a 4 x 4, it died. My first thought was that I blew a breaker. Unfortunately that was not the case. It just doesn't work anymore. Is there an internal fuse or something that can be replaced or reset? I don't know if CPOBosch will take it back since to install the Big Foot, it is neccessary to cut off the boss screw housing. I am extremely disappointed I have $450 saw that doesn't work. Please help.

I am the Products Manager at CPO and while I am familiar with the 1677, I have no knowledge of the "Bigfoot Adapter" My guess is that unless the motor "smoked" due to the additional stress of the 10" blade, the problem is in the switch or connections - you may need to beef up the connections. This saw has a 15 amp motor (same as the 10" Makita) so the power should be adequate. Give Bosch tech a call at 877-BOSCH99

check to see if the brushes are hung up, sometimes they are just a smidgen too thick for the channel especially when hot. If so , lay them flat on a piece of sandpaper and very lightly sand a side. Be careful brushes sand fast.
