Dishlex DX302 not heating?

My DX302 is running the cycle in cold water and not drying at all at the end. Is this some heating element worth $100's or a $10 fuse, or do I just get a new dishwasher and not get Dishlex again??

As mentioned above, It seems to be a simple soldering solution on the control panel to fix the problem which can be done by yourself or by a repairman. Fortunately my husband was confident to tackle the soldering problem himself. The joint looked ok, but on closer inspection it was cracked around the relay pins (dry joint). I never thought I would be pleased to see steam from our final cycle of our DX302 dishwasher again.

We're just glad we dont have to deal with the unpleasant Electralux people on the help desk again.
Great web site.

Hi.

I too have the same problem with the same model dishwasher...and apparently so have a lot of other people.

One common feeling from all the comments is that they won't be buying a Dishlex ever again.

I'm going to tackle my dishwasher this weekend...wish me luck!!

Hope this helps.

Cheers.
