cannot get radio pir's recognised by the expander?

Installed a Scantronic 9752 panel with a RFX08 8 zone radio expander but I cannot get the system to recognise the 714EUR-00 PIR's. The system recognises the tamper if I leave the exp. cover off but I cannot programme the zones after learning the PIR's to the expander. Once learnt the system does not recognise them as a PIR normal alarm circuit. It does not recognise a CCT. tamper if I leave the PIR cover off also.

Just to let you know the programming of circuits above circuit 16 you have to enter "x" before the circuit number for hardwired and radio expanders.

on programming it does let me change the circuit type. I am thinking after learning a PIR it does not ask to confirm or change the circuit type so still a bit baffled. Cheers for your help.

Your reading the installation guide, put it down and pick up the programming guide, that's the thicker book that comes with it. Otherwise it programs the same as every other scantronic panel.

On learning, the expander programmes to the earliest free circuits and shows the signal strength but in the manual it doesn't say how to reprogramme the circuit type or description. The system is only a matter of weeks old and the frequency for the expander and PIR's are 868Mhz. The panel is a 9752 and the expander is a RFX08.

Too many variables here.
How do you know the detectors are "learnt"?

you do not say how old your system is.scantronic has changed the frequency twice for their units,(brussels sods) so u need to check the op freq of your new units
