creeping brake pedal?

Since putting new brake pads in my citroen c5 diesal the brake pedal creeps to the floor when you put pressure on.I have never had a citroen so unsure if this is normal

The pedal will feel quite soft until the pads have bedded in & the caliper has re-adjusted itself.
