how can i program my key fob to my saxo its 2000 model and delocked cheers?

changed battery but cant open or lock car

thanks but no luck does the key hav to be in a certain postion in barrel just to double check cheers

put key in ignition and hold down key button for 10 seconds. turn off ignition and try key fob.
