Hi on my dashboard it comes up when i start the car stop oil pressure low and i have checked the oil and it is 3/4 full so could you tell me if it is the switch and do you have a manual on how to do it yourself,change it.

Your oil light will come on before you start your engine, as long as it goes out when the engine has started,then everything should be ok.

Not a 206 is it?

The oil filter could have collapsed, the oil pump could be failing or you could just be overdue for a service. If you haven't had an oil and filter change recently I'd try that for starters. Use the correct oil and a genuine oil filter.
