Wiring - door vibration sensor?

We have an aritech door sensor with a red wire that came free. The yellow and blue wires are connected to the cover. The base has 4 screws. We connected the red wire to the second from the top but the alarm won't set. Any suggestions?

i mean no harm alarm guy, just like having a laugh,i no we are asked so many pointless questions, but,we are dealing with the public, and amateur engineers, all we can do is try and help.i dont suffer fools gladly,as am sure you dont,or acorn for that matter, but we must make allowances at times, and if i get one more question about veritas crap panels,or optima,i will explode ,makes me laugh, veritas, means truth in latin, and optima, means the best, aint that a joke ?
all i can say is,cogito ergo doleo,(i think therefore i am depressed )

Are you positive about such a negative remark:D

and you will blow another one if the red is not positive !!!!

Try putting the red wire into the terminal with 12v on it or +.

Also check the fuses, you have probably blown one guessing!
