nrg oil seals?

my 2005 nrg power lc started making a really loud grinding noise and stopped and the kickstart lever felt like no back pressure(so thought might b rings or somthins) but reved still so i removed the kickstart case and saw the fixed pulley and nut on crank were loose and the cooling fan had been ripped to peices and melted so checked threads and decided to renew rollers as already off then noticed oil around the crank(suprised me as now run premix and removed oil tank) and looked closer and saw its leaking from the seal on variater side and also the carb wont stop leaking petrol from where the bowl joins and cleaned the surfaces and tighted it and still leaking
will i b able to remove the seal and replace it or does engine need splitting again?
and what could b causing the carb to leak and need replacing?
should i use loctite on variator nut?
it only been 800 miles since it was rebuilt with 70cc kit and crank with new ntn bearings/seals so bearings cant possibly b gone or could they as it sounding rough and crunching wen pulling away but think it gearbox as bearings new

ok,the crank seal can be easily pulled out from the outside and a new one pushed in straight just use a blunt screwdriver or a proper seal puller, the carb will only leak if its not sitting level, the needle on needle seat for the float is damaged or worn, the float has a split and is full of fuel stopping it from floating or the float is set at the wrong height(which i think is plastic so ignore that one).the nut should be refitted with loctite deffo !the grinding will more tan likely have been the end of the variator rubbing against the cover and the berings may be gone of they were not fitted well and hit in the centres or if there is a fault with the rivetted cage that holds the bearings in the race i have seen them fail after short periods.also check your gear oil level with the small distick at tyhe very back of the engine.ep80 hypoid gear oil it what it takes in there.
