After mowing the lawn, I turrned off the lawnmower & took the rubber cap off the sparkplug as per norm, & hey presto pulled the cap off the lead! Does anyone know how to reconnect the cap to the lead? I cant see any connectors inside the cap? ps ; I have a Mountfied petrol rotary mower.

I usually use black electricians tape.

there is usually a threaded spike sticking out of the cap which threads its way back into lead a few turns
