all the departments and totals not adding up +nothing printing on paper accept dots. have tried re programing the departments but wiil not

It doesn't sound good. I haven't worked with this model but it could mean memory corruption (programming gone bad). You could RAM clear the machine and reprogram from scratch if you feel confident. I think you remove the batteries and power off for a while on this model.
