Auto Switch?

Aurora AS1012SB - Does not stop shredding when switch is in Auto position. I must turn it to auto to shred then flip the auto switch to off when shredding is completed. Is there some maintenance I can do to correct this - such as remove paper from auto sensor, etc.?

Probably has paper stuck in the flag that detects the paper causing it to think there is always paper in it.
