What type of oil do i need for my clio extreme gear box?

I have a renault clio extreme 07, i have been told i need gear box oil but i dont know which type or the best place to buy it.

Gear oil is a motor oil made specifically for transmissions so just go down the shop and ask for transmission oil and is normally looks red coloured, just be careful to not put into your engine. cos gear box and engine they are two different compartments i hope i was helpful Donna.
