I have recently acquired a old DeLaval cream separator that needs to have the bowl refininshed. I believe the original finish was tin. How can this be repaired?

if the bowl can be removed and stripped of all parts, you can take it to a plating company from the yellow pages and have it hot dip galvinized to duplicate the original. if only for decoration or yard art, sand it and spray with rattle can galvinize spray.
