Engine flooding?

How do I drain the carby on a B & S 375 sprint 4st lawn mower engine?
Eddie, September 2010
Ok. if that's all you've gone then remove the plug and wipe it dry. Pop it back in and try starting without priming first.

Hi pleasant
I think I primed it too much and could smell petrol, so assumed it was flooded and therefore would not start.

You can't drain the carb ad it has no reservoir. The reservoir is the fuel tank and it uses the fuel as it needs it.

Why are you under the impression you need to "drain the carby"

Is there a problem?

Remove the carb and tank assembly, or suck the fuel out with a suitable vacume pump, the carb does not have a float bowl, this is part of the tank
