red light is on and reads high temp pushed quick freeze button, but nothing no noise from motor this freezer is just over 1yr old and is a hotpoint

things should last a reasonable length of time.Just over 1yr old isn't a reasonable time.Get on to them and speak to trading standards if Hotpoint will not help
