I have a Ford Focus 2001 My car was driving perfectly, I parked then I turn it on a hard Knocking sound started, I seems like the lifters, apparently its the engine valves. Any suggestions?

if this is the valves would advise not to start it incase major damage is done,this will have to be investigated why they are suddenly knocking,maybe first step would be to check your valve timing/belt is in proper order,good luck
