does anyone know on how to wire a electric cooker its a hotpoint ew86?

could anyone help me with wirring my new electric cooker yhanks

Hi there, if its a cooker rather than an oven you need 6mm twin and earth cable. You need to use the new colour cable and buy 2 metres of it. colours are brown - live, blue - neutral and earth. WORKING WITH MAINS VOLTAGE CAN KILL!! Please consult someone competent if you have any doubts before you start, also isolate from the mains, if that means switching power off to the whole house do it, better safe than sorry!
