what is wrong with the heater?

my daughter has mk4 fiesta the heater only blows hot i have changed the heater control valve in the engine bay with out any joy i then changed the heater fascia inside the car this fixed the problem for about 2 days i have since changed the fascia about 4 times each time it fixes the problem for a short period the last time it worked for about 1 hour please help

The flap is inside the heater unit/box, but the motor is normally mounted on the outside of the heater unit, it's often the motor that's the problem.This is not one that i'm familiar with, but try removing some of the lower facia panels or the glove box, if it comes out easy & you may be able to see it.

It may be a problem with a motor unit which operates the hot/cold flap on the heater unit inside the dashboard/fascia. If it,s sticking in position, it may be overloading the control switch.
