Is there anyone in the Coventry area who mends Brother knitting machines?

I have a Brother KH 836 which knits quite well but I have a KA 8310 linker which does not move when I am trying to cast off. Can anyone help please?

I should say that the problem is not with the knitting machine but with the linker.
These linkers are not that easy to use and are very easy to break, I've gone through 3 in about 4 years and now always cast off by hand.
