How can i fix my Diplomat APM8552?

The machine makes a serious grinding noise, when it goes into rinse & spin mode, does not rinse properly & the spin operation is very hit & Miss, mainly miss, also retains water

Just had one of these with the same symptoms. The impellar had come away in the pump (sounds like a coin or similar in the pump).
Best thing is to just replace the pump, of the same design, a Universal Pump will not fit directly.
