Hi
If it is the front passenger footwell, open the bonnet, top corner lift up plastic trim, there is a small section cut so it can be folded up, and reach down see if there is any muck / debris blocking the drain about level with the wiper arm but deep down.
Secondly if your blower now works only on fast speed then the water has blown the blower transistor, which often happens when the drain is blocked and water goes into the footwell.
This happened to me by the way.
Regards
Pete

hi, is it in the front or rear footwell? the front: chck the drain are free of dirt and debris under the bonnet, the scuttle plate at the base of the windscreen has a drain, if you open the bonnet and poor water on the screen follow the flow and make sure it is running away, i clean mine wth a wire coat hanger. if it is the rear footwell i would think a door seal is at fault, but take it back to the repairer and ask them to check it any problems with them contact your insurer
