How do I wire (basic) a 46209x9B so the engine will stop?

I have a 46209x9B that most of the wiring was gone on. I added a 3 pole ignition switch and a solenoid.
I starts fine but will not shut down when I turn the key off. Two wires come from the motor Blask goes to ingition post on ignition switch and whight goes to the light switch Help please

Ensure you are using the correct type of switch. You must use one that GROUNDS the magneto kill wire when the switch is OFF, and leaves it OPEN for RUN and START.

DON'T use and automotive switch - this will switch battery voltage to the ignition coil and destroy it instantly.

take off the wire's from the switch, start the engine earth one wire at a time.....the one that kill's the engine is the one that should go from the switch to earth.
