Scantronic 9448+ Reset?

Hi Guys

I've looked on this forum at the other threads about resetting the 9448+ and the instructions say to locate the RST Pins and place a screwdriver over them to short..... My question is where are these located? One thread stated that they were at the bottom left of the circuit board however, I cannot find them anywhere......... Does anyone have any information as I'm really frustrated.

Many Thanks

Marc

That's the problem Alarm..... I cannot find the 'Molex Pins marked Reset'. I've had the board out and looked at every marking on it.

The circuit board has E88653(S) printed on it and also 105599*2 at the bottom under the Scantronic logo if this helps anyone?

GTS, thanks for you post but I already have the Engineers manual for the alarm.... Just have no idea where these damn pins are :o(

Thanks

alarm, the man aint playing darts, why not just give the answer to his question, power down the panel, mains and battery, open panel, locate the pins marked rst, they are near the microprocessor, place a screwdriver between them, with the blade across the pins, apply the battery, then the mains, the system will load the factory presets, thats 1234 for user code, the o7890 engineering code for the for the 9448 +its the same

They are the short pins with "RESET" written under them.

Imagine a dart board, hit trebble top, you missed the pins.
Now throw for a trebble 13 BINGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Unless its the first panel, then you need to find the molex pins marked reset.
