we do not have the previous owners code on the Accenta alarm (there is no model no or manual).Is there any way we can set it up?

you will need to reset the panel back to factory defaults,if you do this,remove mains power from the panel,disconnect the battery,(the outside bell may sound)remove the wires from terminals,13 (pa) and 23(set +) take note of them,fit a link wire between terminals 13 and 23,apply power,the system will power up with no alarm condition,remove the link,replace the wires,the keypad will now show in response to each zone as it operates,refit the control panel cover,(dont forget to replace leads on the battery)make sure the cover is fitted properly,or the tamper light will stay lit,
whae all the circuits become clear,the system willl go into day mode,at that moment,the nvm will be cleared,and the factory set conditions will be restored,
i.e user code 0123 eng code 9999,

we have found the instructions on line but it seems you need the previous code in order to change it. we want to know if you can set a new code without knowing the previous one?
