how can i fix my american style samsung fridge/freezer?

Hi,

My fridge/freezer has been off for 6 months due to us moving, we are back and switched it on, everything looks fine and you set the temperature however after a few seconds the temp defaults to 25 degrees!!! nothing is cooling in the fridge or freezer!! Please help.
