Specification details of Diode across PCB soldered terminals?
I am replacing the rechargeable batteries in my Braun Electric Toothbrush. To do this I first have to remove the pcb to release the battery pack from its housing.
Unfortunately, at the top of the pcb there is a small tiny copper coloured diode (with a black ring at one end around the circumference) bridged across the soldered terminals which becomes detached when unsoldering the pcb.
Can anyone please provide the specification details for this small diode? The model of the toothbrush is not indicated but suffice to say it has a white casing with full length blue vertical stripes either side of the blue rubberised on/off plate at the top with the word 'timer' marked above. On the back of the casing at low level is marked CE NC-Accu. My concern is that I may have applied too much heat to the component when desoldering the pcb and as result it will malfunction when I put it back together. I'm currently awaiting delivery of the battery pack from the suppliers so I cannot test it. I look forward to any response.
