Reset GARDTEC 360 after power cut?

Hello,

I have a GARDTEC 360/500 series panel for the arlarm system and recently, the main re-chargable battery had ceased. This I replaced succesfully. However, the GARDTEC 360/500 panel display PC (for Power Cut) instead of Un for Unset.

I have looked at the manual but there is no instructions in what to do in this case.

I have searched the net but there isn't any thing in particular.

Can any one help ?

you would be better advised to replace the panel,
try a better make,as gardtec arnt what you would call first class, try scantronic ,but for gods sake, dont touch veritas, you will give poor alarm guy a stroke :-)

Thanks for that -

It seems I have a bigger problem. The New battery i had installed has drained and it is not charging. Having had a closer look one of the resistor's in the Gardtec 300 series control panel has blown. However, If I take the fuse on the circuit board out, the Alarm bell sounds.

I guess what I need is a Gardtec 300 series control panel, to replace the current one.

any further advise / help would be appreciated as I am totaly stuck on this as afer as DIY is concerned

Make sure the fuses are intact, as in not blown. Remember if your unsure call in someone. Dangerous voltages are within the panel. If all well, enter code and start setting the panel. Then put code in and it should return to "Un"
