how can i fix my clutch on my mercedes vito van 2001?

i have never had a problem with my clutch until now it was fine i stopped parked up for 15 mins went to drive away when i was pushing the clutch down it was like ther was nothing ther until about 2 inches from the floor thats when i was changing gear then the clutch stuck to the floor so to get home i tried to pull it off the floor but when i did i snapped the clip on the hydrolic ram but the clutch shouldnt still be either sticking to the floor and not pushing its self back up can any one help?

you could try giving it a bleed for starters, make sure your master cyl. is well topped up,think this model takes its feed off the brake master cyl,if no better would probably try your clutch master cyl next, again bleed the system, and if no better afraid it is a g/box out job for a look at your slave cylinder, while you are there it is advisable to replace the whole clutch, good luck
