what can the problem be?

I have a 2000 fiat punto ELX and have just put it through the MOT and the emissions are really high so it failed the lamba sensor has been changed and the cat in new, i also had a new head gasket last year please help

my fiat punto has had the can belt changed and the alternator belt changed.
but every now and again the punto wont start. and i need a jump start also the power steering stops working while driving usually while turning .
can you help ?
