Ryobi string trimmer, RLT30CES rotating head problem?

My Ryobi trimmer has lost power in the rotating head.
It still works slowly when idling, but as soon as I start to use power to cut the grass it loses all speed in the rotary head.
The engine does not lose power. Can anyone help please?

if as i susspect it is a bent neck strimmer ,you may have snapped the twisted piano wire inner shaft,if a straight shaft the final drivegear on the end of shaft(under the head)may have stripped its teeth for lack of grease, alsocheck centrifugal clutch at engine end for worn shoes
