I have a Craftsman Riding Lawnmower Model Number 917.258561 42 in. 19 hp engine, new battery & new cables. When turned the key to start the engine it turned over and started. Now nothing happens, jumping will not work, the meter will move but won't even turn over, is it the switch?

I had a simular problem on my Murry. It turned out to be the starter selonoid. The first one I replaced turned out to be faulty.
