Make audible headlight warning work again?

Mazda MK5 W reg. Used to alarms if door opened and headlights still on - not any more (2 flat batteries already!) Is it just a fuse somewhere I can replace?

Could be faulty courtesy light switch on door (activates interior light) may need cleaning or swopping with one from passenger door.
