My hotpoint Ultima WM75 is saying erroe code E15 (check oulet pipe). I have attempted to clear any blockages from pipes that are accessible and also used washing machine cleaner/descaler. The machine starts beeping before the spin cycle and then error code appears. Sometimes when it does manage to spin without the message appearing it finishes the cycle and there is a couple of inches of water still left inside the machine.

sounds like a blockage in the drain system, or a pump fault or failiure

pull machine out, withdraw outlet hose from drian pipe so you can place in sink or bucket ( ensure it is above machine level as is will have residual water in in)

set machine on wash programme..let it fill..then move programme to slow spin cycle, ensuring you have outlet pipe going to sink or bucket.

when spin is selected the first operation is to drain the water out of the drum..water should pump at a fast rate from pipe( as you will see) if this is slow or you fail to hear pump running..then you go a stage further and check pump and filter internally. it is a mattter of elimination..if water is not pumping, move pipe to lower position and allow water to drain with graivity into a bowl or similar. HAVE SOME OLD TOWELS READY is is a wet process
