jumpy when starting moving?

my astra is jumpy when accellerating from starting of , it is worse when cold.

if engine is running/ idling ok, not chugging or runnig rough, then this could be a clutch problem(clutch judder) on take off. otherwise if it is engine problem when cold your temperature switch which tells the e.c.u.(electronic control unit) what temp the engine is and adjusts fuel injection accordingly ie. more fuel to start a cold engine could be broken and needs replacing. other possibilities misfiring not geting proper sparks to spark plugs could need new plugs , new plug leads, new coil pack. or could be restricted fuel flow new fuel filter hope this helps good luck
