I think it's something to do with high waterpressure, as
prior to this my pressure was 1.4 which is too high.
1.2 is the recommended max.. As i have underfloor heating i am unable to carry out the step recommended in the manual which is to bleed a radiator to let some water out of the system, as i have no radiators. i presume there must be some kind of outlet valve near the boiler, but not sure what it looks like.

why do people answer if they dont know?

I also have same problem but there is definitely gas supply as the boiler lights for about 10secounds before lockingout to f1

Check your manual, but doesn't F1 mean that there is no gas supply or perhaps low gas supply pressure?
Check that you have gas supply i.e. is your gas cooker working? is the gas supply valve open at the gas meter and your boiler(underneath boiler unit)?
Contact you supplier to enquire if there is any work being undertaken which may influence your local supply pressure.
