skoda octavia cental locking?

the cental locking on my skoda octavia 2004 tdi locks and unlocks 3 doors but not the drivers door any ideas please, thanks and regards.

try disconnecting the main earth lead to the battery reconnect after about 10 seconds .then try your central locking ,if doesnt work i suggest a new door lock
