How to fix a depollution system fault on peugeot 407?

I have an eml on my dash saying i have a depollution system fault. The car does mainly short journeys that i know is not ideal. Any suggestions on how to fix it or how much?

My mechanic just replace this part, and my car stop having alerting me of Depollution System Faulty. And this part cost me just less than SGD $200 including Labour and if done at AutoFrance Singapore it will cost you SGD$450 and Labour $200 to replace this sensor.
(Please request to use diagnostic to check if the error is cause by the sensor, it may be cause by something else)

After knowing AutoFrance quoted me 3x the price, I immediately go to my own workshop.

Peugeot 407 Singapore owner go to Thomas +65-64834044 at addr 10 Ang Mo Kio Ind Park 2A #03-03 Amk Autopoint.

Agreed. I have a 407 and had depollution system fault. The RAC said to give it a `good spanking` down the motorway and that should clear it.

Good News! It did clear it (though MPG wasn't pretty reading!)

give the motor a good long run at high revs in a low gear to get the exhaust really hot and burn off the carbon deposits
