LG TDC70045E condensing dryer motor not working?

Hi could you help me.My 3 year old LG-TDC70045 Condensing Dryer is not woking as it should. The motor makes some unusual noises a few minutes after the cycle begins and then stops rotating and a buzzing sound comes from the motor. The clean filter warning light flashes and the motor gets very hot.The belt is in good order and not slipping.Could you please tell me whether in your opinion the motor is broken?
Thanks

Have you tried replacing the capacitor? It worked with my dryer - and cheaper than a motor :)
