PER THE OWNERS MANUAL.
1. Remove the Mower Housing. 2. Remove the pulley cover from the left mandrel pulley. 3. Remove the Idler Pulley. 4. Move the brake pads away from the mandrel pulleys. Remove the mower drive belt. *note Replace belt with a factory replacement belt. 5. Move the brake pads away from the mandrel pulleys. Install the new mower drive belt. Make sure the "V" side of the belt is against the mandrel pulleys. 6. Place the drive belt around the idler pulley. Fasten the idler pulley with the hex nut. 7. put the cover over the left mandrel pulley. Fasten the cover with the 2 screws. 8. Install the mower housing. 9. Before you mow, check the blade engagement control lever. There is also a detailed drawing in the manual and the instructions refer to looking at it. Also there is a "CAUTION" that reads--Make sure the mower drive belt is inside all the belt guides. The owners manual is part # F-88702A.
