the dirty water on my Zanussi ZDT 6053 is not draining away also it will not allow me to start a new programm, the power o lights are working why could this be, i have checked the mess compartment which filters any foods etc but am stil left with a pool of dirty water and this results in not being able to use the appliance.

drain pump blocked or faulty?.
your waste hose is blocked up?.hold hose over a bucket and see if any water comes out
