simpson wiring loom from the control panel base to the motor base shakes and wobbles causing the wire inside the protective plastic sheath to fray and break. you may find a break where the wire loom is bending at a right angle, it is suppost to hang in a curved loop so it places strain over the whole length. unplug the power, open the back, see if the wire loom bundle is bending. remove the outer black rubber/plastic sheath, white wires inside, (and probably a green earth wire) gently pull apart the wire, and if it pulls apart easily, it means the copper braid inside was broken, and you have pulled and broke the outher plastic. (dont pull excessively). make sure you fix one at a time with a good join connector block or whatever, dont mix up the wires AT ALL!. check for breaks elsewhere, if more, then it is better to replace the whole bunch with new flexible stranded wiring to the same rating. once done, remember to seal the join with some good water resistant elect tape, and make sure none of the wires touch anything they shouldnt, incl other wires, and the steel machine case. good intuition, and dont attempt unless you have understanding of dangerous electrical voltages. this fix applies to ANY washing machine with this wiring loom problem.
good luck,
