Hi my mondeo 55 plate revs fine but when its put in gear and pull away it has no power, I continue to depress the accelerator then the kick down seems to kick in, Id be gratefull of any surgestions.

If this a 5 speed unit then at a guess I think you have a solenoid performance fault This is not directing oil for first gear and giving you a higher gear and then as road speed increases to a point when another gear is required it feels like kickdown. Hi have u checked the level of the automatic transmission fluid in the gearbox?Or both cables on kick down.Hope this helps.
