Sounds like the heating element has broken.
Could also be that the condenser unit in the base of the machine needs the fluff build up cleaning out
between the condenser panels. Open the door at the front of the machine at floor level and turn the three
plastic catch's. Have an old towel ready to catch any water behind the condenser door.
Flush the unit with cold water by pouring it in with a jug while the unit is in the kitchen sink. Have the condenser unit in the vertical position with the plastic
front section at the bottom.
Good luck, be careful, do not try and look at the heater element unless you know what you are doing, there's live wires, always disconnect from the mains and preferably get a qualified technician to do the work.
