Zanussi TC481W Condenser Tumble Dryer Overheating?

Recently my Zanussi TC481W Condeser Tumble Dryer, stopped rotating. I worked out the belt was broken and replaced it. That issue is now fixed. Now when I run the dryer I can only do it on a Low cycle and for about 20 minutes. The dryer seems to get very hot on the front door and the rear of the unit. I am unsure as to whether this is the thermostat or heater. But I do get heat out, but sometimes too hot.
Any thoughts, much appreciated.

Hi CK,
Thanks for your response.
Yes I regularly take the tray out and wash it out using a garden hose, leaving it clean as a whistle. I would also clean the door ducting using about 3 cable ties coupled together in a line and then pull them back and forth to clean out excess fluff.
The door and the rear of the dryer get hot enough you couldn't leave your hand on it. I presume that shouldn't be the case. So I keep it on low and small time sessions.
Thanks
Robbie

have you removed and washed the condensor out lately?.Faulty thermostats are not a common issue on these???.elements work or not so again don't think its that.
