smeg cooker blows the mains fuse when turned off?

my smeg cooker SpA42016 will blow the mains fuse when we turn the cooker OFF. we have to turn the oven off, let it cool down before it will work without fusing everything. we have had 2 cooker repair people looking at it and they are baffled!

when you say fuse do you mean a rcd trip?.could be a low insulation element but they will all need testing with a megga when hot.could also be a faulty selector switch with a sticking contact.very difficult to diagnose without testing this one.
