Hi, my washing machine will spin at first then stops..then the timer switch just goes around? When i take my clothes out they arnt washed properly and are ringing wet??
Ive looked at the carbon brushes, they are fine/ not worn..advised by a sales assistant in a hoover shop?

some types of machines have an encoder attached to the end of the electric motor... these sometimes dislodge from their position and the machine control card gets confused...

If your machine only turns in one direction this could be the problem.... Tilt your machine and gently tap( using a small hammer) the encoder back into its place... Use some glue to keep it in place... Hope this helps....
