A small Piece of cardboard fell into the open lint filter housing?

A small piece of cardboard packaging (about 2 x 4 inches)
fell into the lint filter housing while I had the filter out.
Is this dangerous? Can I use the dryer with this in it?
How can I remove the piece of cardboard?
